Coachlight Friends
Trixie loves frogs.
At last count, there were over 110 frog statues, figurines, notepads, lamps, etc. scattered throughout the house.
So, when we moved in to the new house and she saw a couple of frogs on the driveway, she was thrilled.
Every night, one particular frog sits on top of one of the coachlights fronting the garage, and catches bugs.
He's cool because he turns darker to blend with the brick and the light.
So, last night, I walked outside to let Baron do his business and saw TWO frogs sitting on the light.
Naturally I had to tell Trixie, and being the husband I am, took a series of pictures of them...

Cool, they almnost look like statues themselves..I have never been drawn to frogs really but they do look kind of cute..Do you think that the one who visits often recognizes you ?
Frogs are wonderful for insect control. Have you considered bats? My boss has some who live under the eaves of his lake house and they take care of all kinds of critter control. He even bought 2 bat-houses for them.
That's so cool! You take really good pictures too. :-)
they're sooooo cute! Love froggies!
Hey Everyone -
Pixie, I'd like to think they recognize me, but then again, it's not hard to recognize a short, thirty-something man with gynecomastia...
Kim, luckily we already HAVE bats! I live in a populated area, but it's still rural enough that a creek runs behind my home, deer appear in my backyard and BATS swoop through the air at dusk...
Jess - Thanks! Hope all's well.
Crits - Thanks for the visit. BTW, ditto on the cracking up. I'm linking to your blog today.
