As If You Care

So, it's been a while.

What can I say, when you're as rich and powerful as I, you stay busy.

So what's happened since my last post?

1. I've been meeting with clients. Oh did I not tell you? Oh yeah, I formed my own consulting group. I have just enough clients to stay busy.

2. I've registered for Summer and Fall semesters at Webster University. In just two short years, I'll have a B.A. in Public Relations. I asked, they didn't have a Pubic Relations degree...

3. My Nana died. I just got back yesterday from her funeral. She was one hell of a neat lady and lived to be 85. Miss you and love you Nana.

4. I got a date for the Prom. Trixie has agreed to be my date. Maybe I should explain. When I was in high school with Trixie, she asked me to her prom. I said yes, but just days before the event, I backed out. Apparently she only married me to make my life a living hell and apparently she's still upset I didn't take her to the prom. So, I've made arrangements to join the Class of 2007 at their Senior Prom. J & Becky, as always, will be going with us. We've got a two bedroom suite at the hotel where the prom's being held and we're going to have a HOTEL PARTY afterwards. When you're wealthy you can do things like that. You are all invited.

5. I made my entree into politics. I'm serving on a Committee at the City level. Committee today, Senator tomorrow. The 19th Amendment is in grave danger...

6. I saw a game at the new Busch stadium. My parents were nice enough to slide me a pair of tickets in their seats. It's always nice to beat the Cubs.

7. I ate barbeque.

8. I had sex.

9. I drank some beer.

10. Oh, and I saw the Titanic exhibit. Simply amazing. Difficult to put your head around though. The one thing that did send shivers up my spine (literally) was the last room in which they show artifacts related to the sinking of the ship (the boat launches, the life vests, etc.). In this room they had an enormous block of ice. You were asked to put your hands on it. It was then stated that this block of ice was the temperature of the water the evening the ship went down. I could not imagine swimming in that water.

Doesn't matter anyway, I would have put on a dress and hopped into a boat.

Ta Ta for now...
